Couch's
Spadefoot
Photographed near Rodeo, New Mexico. The spadefoot toads
are able to dig deep into the soil during times of
desiccation using a dark sharp spade on their inner rear
feet. They re-emerge during times of moisture to feed
and breed.
Fine art
prints are discretely hand signed by the photographer.
(The protection signature overlaid here is not included
in the original image printing.) All prints include a
Certificate of Authenticity.
